Featuring a 6-station turntable with dual workstations, the system performs vacuum sealing and tab trimming in parallel. Operators load batteries at the loading/unloading station, then the turntable rotates to the vacuum sealing station where the chamber is evacuated (≤-0.095MPa), the gas bag is punctured, and the cell is sealed. The turntable then moves to the trimming station to cut off the electrolyte-contaminated edge, and finally returns the finished cell for unloading. With 1-out-4 configuration and a 12PPM production speed (within 10s sealing/holding time), this machine delivers efficient and reliable secondary packaging for pouch cells.

The Double-Station Vacuum Sealing & Trimming Machine is a specialized piece of equipment for the secondary sealing (final seal) and edge trimming of soft pack (pouch) lithium batteries. This machine utilizes a 6-station turntable with two independent workstations that operate in parallel, enabling simultaneous sealing and trimming processes for high throughput.
The operation sequence is fully semi-automated: operators place batteries into the loading/unloading station, press the dual-start button, and the turntable indexes to the vacuum sealing station (while another battery is loaded at the same time). The upper and lower chambers close, vacuum is drawn (≤-0.095MPa), the gas bag is punctured, and the seal is completed. The turntable then indexes to the trimming station where the edge containing electrolyte residue is precisely cut (±0.25mm accuracy). Finally, the finished battery returns to the loading/unloading station for removal. Meanwhile, the other workstation performs sealing and trimming in parallel, ensuring continuous operation.
