A servo-driven stretching mechanism performs the deep drawing operation to form the film into a three-dimensional battery pocket. The operator manually places the pre-cut aluminum film onto the die, initiates the forming cycle, and then removes the formed casing for manual edge trimming. Process Flow

  1. Manual Loading: Operator places a pre-cut sheet of aluminum laminated film onto the three-plate die.

  2. Cycle Initiation: Operator activates the forming cycle.
