cylindrical battery formation and grading cabinet is a high‑precision bed‑of‑nails (probe‑type) equipment used to apply formation charge/discharge cycles and measure capacity for cylindrical cells (18650/21700). Our cabinet provides 1280 channels per unit (4 layers × 160×2 channels), with each channel having its own constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) source. The 4‑wire Kelvin connection eliminates contact resistance, ensuring 0.05% measurement accuracy. Data is logged every second, providing exceptional stability and repeatability.

The cylindrical battery formation and grading line consists of 500 cabinets (each 1280 channels) plus 14 AGV robots, MES, and WMS. The line processes trays sized L418×W268×H83mm, each holding 18650 or 21700 cells. Key capabilities:
