Battery DCIR Tester – High Precision High Current DCIR Test Equipment for Lithium Cell Formation & Grading
What Is a Battery DCIR Tester?
A battery DCIR tester measures the direct current internal resistance (DCIR) of lithium‑ion cells by applying short, high‑current pulses and analyzing the resulting voltage drop. DCIR is a critical parameter for evaluating cell health, power capability, and consistency. Our unit also performs formation charge/discharge cycles, capacity grading, and OCV measurements – making it a complete solution for post‑production testing.

±(0.05% RD + 0.05% FS) voltage/current accuracy ensures reliable DCIR and capacity data.
0.1mV voltage resolution and 1mA current resolution enable precise control of formation profiles.
2. Flexible Charging & Discharging Capabilities
Charge: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), CC+CV.
Discharge: CC, constant power (CP), constant resistance (CR).
Wide voltage range (0‑4.5V charge, 2‑4.5V discharge) supports various lithium chemistries (LFP, NMC, LCO).
3. Comprehensive Cut‑off Conditions
Cut‑off based on voltage, current, time, capacity, or temperature – maximizes process flexibility.
Ideal for formation, grading, and cycle life testing.
4. Programmable Process Profiles
Up to 100 steps per cycle with 10 nested loops – create complex charge/discharge sequences.
Independent per‑channel control: each channel can run its own profile simultaneously.
5. Robust Protection & Safety
Over‑voltage, under‑voltage, over‑current, under‑current, over‑capacity protection.
Power failure protection with data recovery – resume test after power restoration.
Hardware reverse polarity protection prevents damage from incorrect battery connection.
6. MES Ready & Data Management
All test data (voltage, current, capacity, DCIR, temperature) can be exported or uploaded to MES.
Supports data traceability per cell ID (barcode integration optional).
Compact Design & Customizable Battery Formats
Dimensions: 1300×1100×1850 mm – fits in R&D labs and pilot lines.
Designed for 33140 cells but easily customizable to other cylindrical (18650, 21700, 26650, etc.) or prismatic/pouch cells with interchangeable fixtures.
