The Aluminum Laminated Film Automatic Forming Machine is a specialized press system for deep drawing aluminum laminated film into pouch battery casings (pockets). This is a critical process in soft pack battery manufacturing, where flat aluminum laminated film is formed into three-dimensional “pockets” that will later house the battery cell.

The machine features a three-plate die structure with hydraulic booster cylinder controlling the flattening/pressing function. A servo-driven stretching mechanism performs the deep drawing operation, while integrated trimming modules precisely cut the formed film to size. The system operates on a continuous roll-to-sheet feeding principle with constant tension control, making it ideal for high-volume production of pouch battery casings.

Process Flow

  • Roll Loading: Aluminum laminated film roll is loaded onto the machine; pneumatic shaft fixes the roll in place.

  • Constant Tension Feeding: Floating roller system maintains constant tension as the film is actively fed into the forming zone.

  • Flattening/Pressing: Three-plate die structure with hydraulic booster cylinder (30T) presses and flattens the film area to be formed.
