This device is an all-in-one fully automatic machine, specially designed for the edge processing of polymer batteries, integrating three core functions: cutting, folding/trimming, and heating/hotting/perming. The equipment is mainly used for the appearance shaping process of lithium pouch cells and is suitable for the automatic trimming, folding, and hot edge shaping of soft-pack lithium batteries.

After the battery is completed with vacuum sealing, it is necessary to trim the excess aluminum-plastic film, fold and iron the edges to shape, in order to beautify the external shape of the battery, ensure that the battery width does not exceed the standard, and improve product consistency and appearance yield. This equipment integrates this series of processes into a three-in-one continuous workflow, which can complete the trimming, folding, and ironing of the large ultra-soft package battery shell without the need for special manual labor.

Process flow:

Batteries are manually placed into the feeding belt in the unloading area → Batteries are intermittently fed to the trimming position with the feeding belt → Excess edge material is trimmed off → Sent to the clamping position and slid into the forming fixture → Under the fixture, the battery is completed by passing through the heating copper mold channel for bending and edge ironing molding → Batteries are manually removed at the picking position.

Equipped with imported PLC programmable controllers and touch screen human-machine interface, operation and settings are convenient; using imported LCD temperature controllers, the temperature control accuracy error is ≤ ±2°C. The equipment has the dual operating mode of manual/automatic operation and yield counting function.

 Temperature Display & Alarm：

The device can display and adjust the side heat temperature, has an abnormal alarm function, and ensures the safety and controllability of the production process.

Adjustable Width & Wide Compatibility：

The trimming mechanism gap is adjustable to accommodate batteries of different widths; both the trimming and forming mechanisms are configured symmetrically in a modular design, and the spacing can be adjusted by sliding the seat; when changing products, it can be achieved by replacing the fixture, feeding belt, synchronous wheel, and making corresponding adjustments.

High-Precision Trimming：

Precise Hot-Edge Shaping：

Brim temperature range: room temperature ~ 200°C, copper mold parallelism 0.1mm, perpendicularity 0.1mm. Stable hot pressing ensures that the battery appearance is free of wear and scratches after folding, with good product consistency.
