The Turntable 4-Station Top & Side Sealing Machine is a specialized heat sealing system for the top and side edge sealing of small to medium soft pack (pouch) lithium batteries. The machine utilizes a 4-station turntable with automatic clamp opening/closing, driven by a high-precision cam roller indexer for accurate and smooth indexing. At the sealing stations, double-sided heating sealing heads with precision guide mechanisms apply heat and pressure to the aluminum laminated film through thermal conduction, melting and bonding the film layers to create a hermetic seal around the battery cell.

Sealing Process Details
Top Sealing: Seals the top edge of the pouch battery where the tabs exit. This is typically the final seal before the battery is considered complete.
Side Sealing: Seals the side edge of the pouch battery, which may have been previously cut after the formation process.
Double-Sided Heating: Both upper and lower sealing heads are heated to ensure even heat transfer through the aluminum laminated film.
Thermal Conduction Bonding: Heat and pressure are applied to melt the inner layers of the aluminum laminated film, creating a strong, hermetic seal.
Sealing Quality: Consistent seal thickness (0.14-0.3mm) and width (3-12mm depending on model) ensure reliable battery encapsulation.
